My doctor on 2/1 prescribed for me Nystatin Triamcinolone, for application twice a day. After the first week of using my condition improved very well, the redness and irritation was effecting a larger area of the underside of my glans, it was then just reduced too a small crease/line immediately following my meatus and on the meatus itself. On 2/15 , two weeks into the treatment i returned to my follow up, he said the condition looked "better".He then advised me to continue using the prescription for a month, and if in a month nothing has changed call for a referral to a dermatologist.Well the condition has not changed in 3 weeks, the effectiveness of the treatment has seemed to reach a plateau.I'm wondering if it would be ok to call for a dermatologist referral now?I dont want to wait to 3/17 when the condition following the treatment has remained unchanged since 2/8 roughly.Im depressed at the prospect of not having this resolved and having this be a perpetual block to having sex.
