Q: Recovery After Microdiscectomy

Had microdiscectomy on dec 4 06 . Still have heaviness in right leg and also have lower back pain.Will it ever go?What is the usual time needed for a full recovery(if possible)?

I had a microdiscectomy and now have 2 times the amount of pain and even have pain in areas I never had it pre surgery. I would think by now you should be fully recovered. If not I reccomend the spinal fusion. Yea I know its sooooooo bad but I know people who had it done 40 years ago who feel great to this day.
