I have a question, my roomate has these scabs all over her body and she always picks them, i was wondering what it is? she will not let me know all she said is that it is not contagious. Her childern also have them too. so is it a skin disese?? please respond very concerned

it is probably psoriasis. it is a genetic, non-infectious skin condition that can make the skin very dry, crack, and create scabs. You have no reason to be concerned. Other common symptoms is thickened skin on the joints, reddish dry skin, and flaking skin.
