hi my 13 year son fell on his coccyx yesterday in school, i kept him off this morning as he was in pain with it now he has a raging temperature about 38 at the mo is it possible there is a connection or is he just coming down with a virus thanks

Hey! Im not a doctor but in my opinion, I cant see how there would be a connection? I think its just co-incidence

I hope your son gets better soon!! Maybe try putting him in a cold bath??

As far as I know because I am just a lay person, there is no link. But since he fell on his tailbone, I think you should have it xrayed. I fell on mine over 30 years ago and it was painful and broken. Take care and good luck.
