I would personally wait, but I know other girls on this forum went ahead. If you do, remember to take it slow, use lots of lube, and wear a condom! And be honest at your appointment if/when your doctor asks if you did it.

I wasn't even ready to at 6 wks and I thought I was! It hurt sooo bad. I know so many women who have gotten pregnant again right away within 6-12 wks after the birth of the previous child. So if you do like one of the other girls said.......use a condom! Smile Good luck!

you feel ready after only one month?? You are the first person that I know of who has actually said that they feel ready. I wasn't ready after 6 weeks. It was so scary. I had stitches so the whole fear of ripping was there.

I didn't even have energy.

I waited about 7 weeks after I had my son and it didn't hurt, I had stitches too.

I wouldn't do it so soon though, you just had a baby let your cooch heal!!!!!! lol.

you may feel ready but like the others say once you do it is going to probably hurt like hell. from the outside you may feel great but the inside of your vagina has been through quit the drama. Your body will take a while to heal and some women after birth don't process the natural lubricant soon after giving birth creating dry friction which will only irritate the area more. Give it some time. I had tried having sex at the 5 week point thinking that I was close enough to the 6 week point so why not and it was horrible.
