Ok you guys I am now 14 weeks and 1 day, and I still have this awful morning sickness...It comes and goes but there's some days that I have it all day and night....Is there anything I can do to make it subside? It's not even a "stomach sick" feeling, it's a feeling like I want to gag...Does anyone else get this? Ugh it's horrible, i'm so incredibly moody and irritable because of it...I've heard of seabands, do they work? I suck on mints all day and munch on saltines, but anything in my mouth makes me want to gag! Gosh I can't wait for this to pass already! I didn't get to bed until 2 last night because of this....Any other remedies or prescriptions that you know of or your drs recommended? Any input would be greatly(caps) appreciated!

Jennifer,
thanks for the suggestions, I hope it helps a little...Other than feeling crappy i'm okay I guess...Really tired all the time though..Today's my sister's b-day so we're all going out to dinner tonight so i'm excited, I can't wait to dress up and put make up on! Lol haven't done that in so long! Other than that i've been on bedrest and am supposed to be on until I hit 16 weeks...But I told my dr that I was going out tonight with or without her permission! Lol I loveee going out to eat, especially now! And my aunt and uncle haven't found out yet that i'm pregnant, so it's kind of like a "coming out party" too in a sense! Lol that sounds weird, but you get the idea! How have you been? And the kids? I don't know if you tried calling within the last week but my phone was shut off, but it's back on now just in case youwanna get in touch with me....How are the kids doing? And mike?

Hey there!
I had bad bad morning sickness like that, anything would make me gag... Fresh air... Certain smells.. It was bad.. The other crappy thing is i'm 16 weeks and I still get it most of the time :s (thats why i'm not at school right now lol!) what I tried doing.. Was drinking cold water... Orange juice was good too.. But I couldnt do the cracker thing like people suggested... I still gag sometimes but its good, when u start to feel sick.. Thet u dont lay on ur back but lay on ur sick and kinda just take a few deep breaths... Wait a bit to stand up and stand up slowly... It should help u a little bit... I'm actually still trying to find better ways for myself haha Smile

Shauna,
thanks for the advice girl! In the morning when I wake up I noticed that if i(and this is stupid lol but it works!) get out of bed slowly and keep my back hunched(like bent over) and slowly bring myself up I dont get dizzy, and nauseous....If I wake up and jump right out of bed my equilibrium gets outta wack and I end up back in bed! Lol also slow deep breaths and focusing on something helps pass the gag feeling....I'll let you know if I come across anything else that works! Laughing

Hey chrystal,
they put me on bedrest because some of my levels were low and they didn't think I was consuming enough cals for the amount of "activity" if you will, that I was putting my body through...My potassium and iron were low and so were my electrolytes...So she said bedrest until 16 weeks, only 2 weeks away but still it feels like forever...Im stuck in bed eating and eating and now I have to take these gross supplements, iron pill and a k pill...Ugh they're horrible, but oh well what are ya gonna do!
