i am off work at present as i had a panic
attack in work after being stressed.
since then i am suffering from chest
pain, pins and needles in my chest and
palpations mainly at night and i cannot
sleep, is there anything i could take at
bedtime to stop this awful feeling. i am
never off sick but have a busy home lift
with 3 kids and driving everywhere and a
full time job as a medical sec, my husband
works away a lot so i get the brunt of the
work at home too, i am desperate to get
back to work next week but come morning
when i have dropped kids off just want to
climb back in back, i have been off now
for three weeks and my doctor is happy for
me to stay off more any suggestions should
i fight this and get back to work or am i
not ready, please advise. this feeling in
my chest is awful, i have had an ecg
recently and that was ok, my cholesterol
is high though at 7.8. and bp has been up
too.
Welcome to ehealth. Personally I would
take more time off work if thats what your
dr thinks you need. You dont want to rush
back into things and nothing has been
solved. I dont know about any meds to
help. you would have to talk to your dr
about that one. Have you tried
excersizing? sometimes that can help with
anxiety, stress, depression. But dont jump
back into work until you are sure your
ready to handle it
