Since Thanksgiving, I've had random but accute pain in the sinus areas, especially in the bridge of my nose. It can last from 12 hours to 5 days. I have had a CAT scan, saw a neuorologist, and many pain killers. Vicadine (sp) didn't touch me. I'm on percocet.

I teach middle school and am frustrated not to do any science labs because of the meds. I have started accupuncture and since then, I've only had one smaller headache but I have to go 3x a week to see the affects and it gets expensive. But it does get rid of the pressure. It used to be like a balloon inside my head being blown up.

Any ideas as to what this can be? Yesterday was the first day I woke up again with mucus. And a chunk of mucus about the size of a small grape came out of my nose. Painful, but felt good when it was out. I felt that there was still another chunk but it would not come. And now today I have the full blown headache again, barely sitting/standing up.

Suggestions? Confused
