Strange Feeling While Laying In Bed Posted: 02-26-07 04:16am
I've had this strange recurring feeling
ever since I can remember. Once in a
while when I'm laying in bed trying to
fall asleep, I get these strange
sensations that things just aren't right.
It's hard to describe but sometimes I feel
things such as my body, my bed or my
surroundings are either much larger or
much smaller than they actually are. A
good way of describing it would be saying
that I feel like the walls are closed in
on me. I also get almost an outer body
experience accompanying this. The
sensations are extremely frightening and
prevent my from sleeping. When I open my
eyes these sensations go away but the
minute I close my eyes again they return.
Has anyone heard of this before and if so
is there something that can be done? I
haven't talked to a doctor about this
because I'm never concerned about it until
its happening.
Thanks.

You feel like this only during nights or
whenever you go to sleep..
I think It's good to post this question in
mental conditions forum.

I only feel like this when I'm trying to
fall asleep.
