Q: Teen With Way Too Much Body Hair For Age.

I am a considerably young teen. I feel that I have WAY too much body hair for my age and not enough muscle. For my muscular problems, I workout consistently which only helps a little bit. But, for the body hair, even shaving would be huge waste of time and take forever (plus it would grow back). I NEED HELP.

Word.
Hey, dude. I'm on the same boat as you.
My parents say there's nothing wrong with a bit of a hairy chest.
I have furry chest, a hairy stomach, and a back that looks like that of a domesticated cat.
(For everyone else's sake, I'm not going to go into any detail on where else I'm growing body hair...)

Anywho, it realy sucks hardcore for me not only becuase having a lot of body hair..and I don't mean a bit of it here and there i mean freakin' fur...is bad..but becasue i have a genetic predisoposition to baldness.. I'm not showing any signs of goin' bald...that's gonna happen down the road, but having a really hairy body and a head with none on it isn't going to be too much of a confidence booster, if you get my drift.. -_-

Anyways, here's some advice from a fellow "werewolf" :

Firstly: Not everyone doesn't like hair on the body. Sometimes it can be seen as a sign of manliness, and virility...

and.

some areas aren't that much of a hinderance to shave.
The stomach for instance.

Take a good razor and a handful of shaving cream and swipe with vertical motions up and down the length of the abdomen. Don't go any lower (shaving anything below about an inch under the navel will produce a demonc ITCH..[I'll leave it to the imagination why])
And don't go any higher than below the pectoral muscles. A man attempting to shave his chest is an exercise that also results in torturous itching.

you can take a shot at your shoulders and perhaps even some of the back, if you're really flexible....But the legs..

Dont' shave your legs. Seriously. There's nothing less socially acceptable in society than a man shaving his legs. I wouldn't have any problem with it but other people...let's just say men shaving their legs isn't widely practiced for good reasons. the conventions of society.

Anyway, like you said, shaving is a pain.

There are other options.

there's a "laser hairloss' clinic. ...Usually you can find them in most towns or big cities nearby. I'm not sure what they involve, but they're pretty effective...and painful.

Then there are waxing clinics. (for women I thinnk, but if you're really desperate..)

And then there's electrolysis.
Yeah like the name sounds, it's not a painless process.
This is where they take a little electrode, stick it under the skin where you wnat to get rid of the hair, and then shock the follicles under the skin, until they become paralyzed and the hair falls out.
Electrolysis is the most effective, painful, and expensive way to get rid of hair.

What i'd do if I were you is resort to the latter.
Electrolysis.
It's painful, but worth it.
(Painful both physically and finiancially)

You said you were a young teenager...That means you don't need to pay for anything else, right?

I'd be going for electrolyisis, but I'm in university and I don't have a darn penny to spare.

So if I were you, I'd save up some money, perhaps get a part time job and go ahead with the eletrolysis.

good luck, hope this has been some help
