I am VERY hairy. That is why i'm at a total loss in just discovering the back of my right calf only, from the ankle to 3/4 up my calf is completly hairless. Bald!!! I do have three mysterious lesions due from itching, though have scabbed over and almost healed. My diet is healthy with fruits and plenty of vegetables, though since Christmas have new girlfriend that cooks daily our meals. Chinese so have been eating more fatty meats though not in big quantities. Also I initially mentioned "just discovering". This hair loss seemed to happen 'overnight'. Could anyone tell me what's going on?

Have you changed your laundry detergent lately? Did you do anything that might have rubbed the hair off (rollerblading, leg wraps etc)? It could be that you are developing eczema. Do you have a history of this or anyone in your family have eczema? I think this because of the itchy sore on the area. I'm also thinking that it might be a localized allergic reaction to something.
