Q: Itchy Rash

my boyfriend has an itchy, red, painful rash that has spread all over his body. the pharmacist told him to take benadryl but it doesn't seem to work. help!

does he having any trouble breathing? If so go to the nearest ER now. Has he been sick? describe what the rash looks like.
