lasagna

12 lasagna noodles
1.5 cans/jars of spaghetti sauce
32oz ricotta cheese (i use part-skim)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 eggs
salt and pepper to taste
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (also part-skim, but NOT fat-free)

preheat oven to 350* and boil the noodles until tender (however long the package says).

mix ricotta, eggs, garlic, parmesan, salt and pepper. (sometimes i add spinach)

in a 9x13, pour 1/3 can of sauce, layer 4 noodles on top, spread half ricotta mixture, layer 4 more noodles, rest of ricotta, 1/2 can sauce, (this is where you would put the meat if you want it), 4 noodles, 1/3-1/2 can of sauce, sprinkle mozzarella over the top.

bake at 350* for 45 minutes. put greased foil over the top for the first 30 minutes, then remove it for the last 15.

The World's EASIEST, YUMMIEST Baked Chicken

4 Boneless, Skinless Chicken breasts
2 8 oz bottles of Creamy Italian Salad Dressing
1 Large-ish can of Italian bread crumbs

First, preheat your oven to 350*. Take the chicken breasts and stab them with a fork multiple times on each side. This is so that the dressing can get into the chicken. So, stab a few more times. Repeat on all chicken breasts. Place them in a gallon-sized ziploc bag and pour in 1 1/2 bottles of Creamy Italian dressing and seal the bag, squeezing the air out first. Massage the chicken so that you cover everything completely in dressing. Let the bag sit in the fridge for half an hour while the chicken marinates.
Place a baking rack normally used for cooling things on a cookie sheet. Dump bread crumbs on a plate, take out a chicken breast, and coat it completely (and I mean completely) with the bread crumbs before placing it on the rack. Repeat with all of the chicken breasts. Bake for 30-50 minutes (depending on thickness) until done.
They're DELICIOUS if you let them marinate for long enough. The dressing and breadcrumbs keep the chicken nice and moist. It's awesome and easy.

Cream of Mushroom Pasta
1/2 a bag of spiral [or any kind of noodles you prefer] (you can add more if you like)
boil 1/2 bag of frozen veggies, broccoli peas, carrots, corn (again add more if you like)
2 cans of cream of mushroom soup,
add 1 can of milk after adding he First can of mushroom soup in
warm up some chicken if you had some the night before and cut them into pieces and add them in too

After noodles are cooked add butter [as much as you desire] so noodles dont stick, then add 1 can of mushroom soup, 1 can of milk, and the 2nd can of mushroom soup [i find it works better this way so its not so runny like a soup] add in your cut up chicken and add your cooked veggies as well. Mix all together then your ready to serve!
I made this for my brothers one day and they loved it, and just a couple das ago i made it for my fiance, and he is a really picky eater he liked it so much he wanted more! Hope you guys enjoy it too.

Chicken CHOP CHOP
I just made this tonight for the first time. I had this 3 times while I was on my trip in Miami in January. It is a Cuban recipe, and it is sooo yummy!!!

4 chicken breasts
1 cup shreaded cheese
1 tomato
small tub of sour cream (fat free or what ever you please)
fresh quacamole
fresh salsa
4 whole pitas (I like the whole grain kind)

Spice up the chicken with some mexican spices or just some season all. Whatever you please. Then throw it on the grill until cooked. When the chicken is cooked, put the chicken on a cutting board and with a large knife CHOP the chicken into cubes. Sprinkle the chicken with the cheese and chop a little more. Slice the very top off of the pita so that you will be able to "stuf" the pita with the chicken. Take a scoop of the chicken/cheese mix and spoon into the pita. Then scoop a little sour cream and quacamole and tomatoes, and salsa. Then Scoop the rest of the chicken into the pita...

Enjoy.

Hey Rosie H, here's some ideas:

make a pasta, stir fry dish,

cream of soup for the sauce,
veggies and potatoes,
cook rice OR noodles,
and stir in all together, and if you have some peanuts, add them in for protein.

Or make a pasta salad with the veggies, and potatoes, and instead of cream of soup mayonnaise and mix it all together and again add the peanuts in if you'd like, or do you have eggs? you could boil eggs and cut them up and throw them in the pasta salad Smile

Hope that gave you some ideas, but sorry its a little late now lol i just realized you posted that yesterday

i recently figured out that instead of using sour cream in recipes (because it is pretty fattening), you can use plain yogurt. it tasts virtually the same and it has less fat.

the picky boyfriend problem
im not sure if i am pregnant yet... but im thinking i may be. hes very picky and doesnt eat anything with grazy but he LOVES sausage. any good recipes with the long sausage not the ground kind?
also... heres a take on ramen noodles....
like chineese?
make beef ramen noodles, fry up some onions and add them to the noodles and add soy sauce. it takes ten minutes top and is a cheap alternative to japaneese steak houses.
meat is also good in the noodles.
