I'm about to go nuts. Ava doesn't want to sleep. She's tired, it's been 2 hours since her last nap. She won't let me walk her to sleep like I always do, she won't go to sleep in the stroller ( i tried it for the first time today, we went walk outside for 30 minutes), when I put her down she plays then starts to fuss, she won't fall asleep in the swing. This morning she woke up at 7:30 and didn't nap until 12:30. I could tell she was tired though.
I'm really good at catching her right when she gets tired, so she doesn't get overtired. Today's just a bad day.
She won't eat either. I posted about this a few weeks ago. For about a month now she gets so distracted when I feed her that her head goes back and forth and she wants to look around, but then cries b/c the bottle comes out of her mouth.
I'm sick of fighting with her. I could cry. My husband's working nights so I have no relief. I can't call my mom b/c my dad's home and he would make some stupid comment like "what can't you do it on your own?" Last night was a struggle at bedtime too. She slept from 8-9 then was up until 10:30 fighting her sleep.

did you read that book? just wondering because it really helped me. the thing is you have to be consitent every night. one or two nights of trying wont do anything. also, you cant give in to her because that will just bring you back to square one.
also with the eating thing you described, thats why i had to feed my son in a dark quiet room for the first few months of his life.

Yeah, i read it, but she sleeps all night from 10-7, so that's not the problem, it's her naps. I'm using some tips in the book to help transition her to sleep like a lovey and a routine. Hopefully it'll make her bedtime walks to sleep a little shorter.

maybe she has outgrown one of her naps. I would try eliminating one of her naps for a few days and see how bed time goes after that
