You have no idea how many posts I've left, and no one ever replies...so I guess I will try again...

Well I was on the pill for a year and a half, and then I was off for a couple of weeks, end of January just because I couldn't get down to my doctors and stuff, but I went back on the pill. The second day I was back on, me and my boyfriend had sex.....unprotected, he came in me and everything. Well today....which is just a little over 2 weeks since it happened, I am having a slight bit of spotting and a bit of cramping. All of my friends are telling me that it's nothing to worry about, and that I wouldn't have started to ovulate so soon after going off the pill, but I just have this intuition. And now the spotting and cramping is really making me worried. However, it is the only symptoms I am having. I am not sick or anything, I feel normal except for those two things...

Anyone know..?

Spotting and cramping is a good indication that your period is coming. However, I can't say for sure. If you don't get a full period soon, take a pregnancy test first thing in the morning before you've emptied your bladder.

And please be careful with sex. Quite a few women have gotten pregnant while on the pill. If you don't think you can handle a pregnancy at this point in your life, it might be a good idea to combine protection, such as using a condom as well as birth control pills.

Good luck.
