At my 10 week checkup I went to the doc and had a pap test done. They said they would call me if the lab results came back with any abnormalities, and it did. My pap test showed some abnormal cells which were a mild case of HPV. I have to go in at 17 weeks to get a coloscopy ( sp?) and I am kinda afraid. I wonder if any of you out there have or had HPV while you were pregnant and how it affected you.

I had a colposcopy at 11 weeks and it was painless. I am now 12 weeks. I asked my doctor if this would affect the baby and he stated it wasn't an issue. I still plan on doing research on this issue as the doctor seemed to blow off my question. This is a minor issue, nothing to worry about. Stay positive Smile
