When i masturbate i have no problem controlling the duration and delay of ejaculation, however, when i have sex it is like a whole new realm and it seems impossible to delay. Im sure these are just simple symptoms of premature ejaculation but does anyone have any suggestions about getting past this problem? seeing a doctor may be out of the question since i really dont want the parents getting involved, has anyone tried deferol? any tips would be greatly appreciated

Premature ejaculation can have physical causes or mental causes. If you want to rule out the physical without getting the parents involved, you can check if there are clinics near you that will take a look at you without involving them. However, since you have no problem when you masturbate, it sounds like it could be something psychological.

Sometimes the issue improves on its own, sometimes drugs are used, and other times counseling works.

This site has some pretty good information on the subject:

"Behavioral therapy is one possible approach for treating premature ejaculation. Most commonly, the "squeeze technique" is used....

Another possible treatment is prescription medication that helps to delay ejaculation....

Some men with premature ejaculation also benefit from reducing the stimulation they experience during sex. A number of creams are available that can partially anesthetize (numb) the penis and reduce the stimulation that leads to orgasm. Another option is to use one or more condoms*...."

*If you use condoms as your main form of birth control or for STD prevention, then never use more than one at a time. Using more than one at a time can create friction (latex rubbing on latex) that makes both condoms more likely to break.

im very curious about deferol, its a non prescription medicine that would easily attainable, it says its all natural, does that mean that it would raise seratonin levels naturally (mimicking anti-depressants) meaning that i would not become dependent on it and would eventually be able to get off deferol? if so, i dont understand why everyone doesnt take this, thanks

I don't know much about deferol. I found some reviews of it on the internet. 60% of people said it worked for them on one site that I found. That just makes me a little suspicious because since the issue is often psychological, it certainly could be a placebo effect taking action there. In fact, even when actual placebos are used, people often report that the "drug" worked more than 60% of the time. So that might be fishy.

They have a study on their site that their claims are based on, but the study is very small.

Also, this is not evaluated by the FDA.

It does not seem dangerous, so it looks like it might be worth a shot. Their site says they offer a money back guarantee if you don't like it within 30 days.
