A journey of a thousand miles starts with just on step. You probably don't want to hear this, but you need help. I know you're 16 and you may feel this is "normal" behavior, but its not. Looking thin may make you feel good, you may even look good, for now, but that will change.
You need to nip this in the bud before you become seriously ill. The first thing to do is talk to someone, if not your parents then perhaps the school councillor, or a friend, the coach might be a good bet, they're not stupid and some have been trained to spot eating disorders and it would be easier talking on your terms rather than theirs.
Being healthy is about effective management of your body, not being thin. Starving yourself is not the answer, a lot of the weight you lose is muscle, most of it is the fluid that your body needs to survive.
The depression wont be helped either, because no energy is coming in, your body and mind feel tired ,under stimulated and frustrated and its easier to think negatively in these circumstances.
If you want to be healthy, active and look good, eat healthy, be active and think good!
