It is more important in my case, but sometimes, can be just as important in other ppl as well...
Make sure to keep an eye on your pain. If the pain does not remain localised to the area of bruising...especially if your joints starts hurting, it could be that one of your bones/joints has gotten injured and inflamation has set in (Just a normal reaction of the body trying to cure the injury). This however needs to be treated with anti-inflamatories so it does not spread (Which it can).
If it does escalate, the best might be either a voltaren-gel product or a visit to a local GP for anti-inflam.
Just stating...in terms of "Prevention is better than cure". It's definately not a certainty that inflammation would set-in...just something to be aware of.
