Q: Tested Too Soon?

I'm not the most paitent person
so since AF is due again any time from the 23rd to the 25 (usually a 26-28 day cycle) I thought if I tested with First Reponse this morning I might get a correct result. Well it turned out to be a BFN. But I think maybe I tested too soon. It has only been a week since we DTD after all. I'm going to wait until the end of the month and if AF doesn't show take another test.
Just wondering if you think it was too soon to test and that's why I got the negative?

Thanks and I think I'll need it lol. DS is only 10 months old and does enough to drive me crazy
Although if I am 19 months apart isn't too bad....I hope
