well i recently started birth control for the 1st time and the brand name is errin its a pill thats always active and in the booklet it says that u take when u start ur period and i did so does that mean that it started to work that day b/c this is about the 7th day ive taken it and i wanted to know if it okay to have sex unprotected

I am not familiar with the brand of pills. However, if you start your pill on the first day of your period you are immediately protected. It would be 7 days if you had started during any other time of your cycle to be protected. therefore, you are protected from unwanted pregnancy as long as you have taken them as directed. Please keep in mind that it does not protect agianst and std's.
