Question Anyone know of any legit jobs that you can do from home such as data entry work/transcrption work not requiring you to know medical terminology/etc. I've tried the taking the free surveys for money and its not for me. Those surveys go on forever and just not worth it to me. I ran into the site hbwm.com which is "home based working moms" that offers alot of possibilities for people wanting to work from home. (not just moms) but still not sure. Any help would be appreciated, i'm sure most bi-polars like myself arent people person's.

Thank You

Looking into it
Hi,

I am also looking for work at home opportunities. I met two ladies at the Bipolar Meeting in my town last night who work from home. One is a medical coder. She said the documents get fed exed to her and she types them up.

I will post information if I get details. Please post information if you have any as well.

I can not do any phone work cause I will go off on the person on the end of the line. Bottom line. I would have to stuff envelopes and they have machines to do that now.
Good luck!

FourPaws,

Well, there are many work at home jobs out there. It all depends on what you want to do. Like there is the whole Web-Cam thing that is a real paycheck (believe it or not), Medical Coding, HUD Processors, Web design, E-Bay, Surveys (but that sucks), Babysitting, and document writer, that is just to name a few.

You know when you get a job and you need work boots? It is like an investment in your job thus you spend money. Check into the company BEFORE you spend any money. Talk to real people about it, not just follow what the screen says. All work at home jobs cost money in one way or another, just like buying work boots.

I kinda work at home. I have a few websites and I also offer Personal Assistant Services for locals and travelers. (pick up dry cleaning, right hand person, gopher, etc..)

Being Bipolar I know you can think outside the box. Let your mind wonder and roll with it you may be surprised!

Is the true condition of human nature to work for One's Self?
I, too, am a sufferer of bipolar type ii and obsessive compulsive disorder. I am 24. I work from home as a copywriter and do some web design as well. I have researched the industry so long that I am really one of the best in my area now. However, I have had many jobs that I do when I can. It is really great to be able to get paid to write (which is what I love to do anyway), and have that payment sitting in PayPal ready to do what I want with. I talk to other sufferers (suspected) that also work from home and some work as night security guards on the side. It seems to work for them. When my juices get going and since I *CAN* think outside the box, my writing rocks. But, at times it is so hard to meet deadlines so I also like to have other alternatives. Ebay is a good one, and so is Craigslist. People out there need help a lot of times with writing up their Ebay and Craigslist descriptions, websites need content, and small business owners need relief that comes from not having to add work to the book. It is really great to be in control of your own day, and as free-thinkers that is something that we definitely need. The true human condition is to work for one's self anyway.
