For over year now I have been having chest pain in the center of my chest, sometimes with difficulty breathing, sometimes after swallowing several tylenols or nexium and zyrtec. I have been to my primary who sent me for an echo cardiagram, a stress test, several ekgs, and a colonoscopy. I am on nexium, zelnorm and zyrtec with a possible diagnosis of irritable bowel syndrome. I notice this chest pain more when I am under stress and was then given atavan cause I think the doctor thinks i'm nuts. I am just tired of being in some kind of pain every single day. I want to go back to my old life where I could just get up in the morning and not wonder 10 times a day if I am having a heart attack. My dad died of a heart attack at 52 having his first attack at 39. Most of my moms relatives on her dads side had heart attacks into their 50's, men and women but my mom and her sister are fine. My blood pressure is usually 127/80 my cholesterol is about 214, I weigh about 220 down from 286 a year ago and I exercise about 40 min. a day 5 days a week on a stationary bike. I welcome any thoughts on this.
