Q: Weight Gain & Bc

Hi there,
does anyone have any personal experience with weight gain while being on birth control? I am in the process of switching from the patch to the pill, and with the patch, I gained quite a bit of weight...Just curious if the same is likely to happen with the pill. (i'm thinking it probably will as all forms of bc basically do the same thing?) thanks for any help! :d
