New to this site and haven't asked for med.Advice before. Am a mom of an active teen who is 14. He has a lump under his right nipple that is of concern to us. An antibiotic was first used to see if the lump was the result of some sort of lymph node reaction to an infection. The lump did decrease in size, but is still there. ( while that Dr. Said it was a lymphoma --but not to worry because they're 99% benign, he advised going to a surgeon if it was still there after the antibiotic. ) had another "opinion, who suggested an ultrasound first. Today he had an ultrasound to determine if it was any type of cyst, but they are now sending him to a surgeon becuase it was not the type of lump that is detected on their machines. I am trying not to be too conerened about this, but he is also having headaches (plays football) and this is being dealt with too. I am worried that the two are related and am wondering if anyone knows if
leukimias give off these symptoms in the beginning. Am confident that my child's doctor will put the two together if they are somehow related. Has anyone had any similar experience, or do you have any related info. On teens with this? Rolling Eyes thank you
