I'm sorry to hear about your daughter. I have back problems myself and I have been to many many doctors and none of them seem to help. How does she describe her pain? I have sharp, stabbing, numbing pains on the sides of my back. I just went to the doctor yesterday and she said I had bladder inflammation. I told her about the pains in my back and she just nodded her head. I've had bladder infections before and I know what the pain feels like, so i've got that pain, plus this stabbing pain i've had for about a month or so. She gave me muscle relaxers, so I think she thinks it's maybe a muscle sprain or something. But they don't seem to help. What kind of doctor should I go to? As for your daughter...I don't know what her pain is like, but I bet a heating pad would help her. That's what I use. And a nice, hot bath. And a friend told me a while back when you have problems with your back you need to sleep on the ground, but who wants to do that? I don't, and I haven't tried it. It just seems like it would make it worse!
