Is anyone else sick of snow?!? I usually don't mind it but this has been a mess! We had about 6 inches of snow with 2 inches of sleet/freezing rain in between. I've been stuck in since tuesday because the stupid plow only plowed half of our street. (of course it wasn't the side our driveway is on). It's been under 20 degrees for three days so shoveling that mess is going very slow for the hubby. He had the driveway done but has to do half the road now.
Ok...I feel better now. Just needed to vent a little. Embarassed

I was just talking to my dad about this. I'm so done with winter. On a good note, I was admiring it's nearly 5:30pm and it's still light out. That gives me hope that spring isn't *too* far away

I am sick of rain! I know snow is much worse. We had at least 20 to 24 inches of rain in november and a snow storm (not like pa or new york) in december. It was the wettest month ever recorded. We just moved back after being gone for nine years. I am thinking, why did we move back?

I would be very sick of snow if I were living in some of the eastern states. You guys got slammed!!

I guess .I really shouldn't complain. At least .I have a warm house and food. There are people stranded along a main route (.I78) that have been stuck going on 2 days now. Tractor trailer's weren't able to make it up a hill and I think there is like 50 miles of traffic stuck. They weren't able to get plows in because of the stuck tractor trailers. Then they detoured people onto the .P.A. Turnpike and there was a mojor accident there today so that was closed too. The .National .Guard was called to bring the stranded people food and blankets. It really is a mess. If it had been just snow it wouldn't have been too bad but with the ice... Evil or Very Mad

I just saw that on the .National .News. That is so crazy! I heard that the guard actually had to pull some people out due to medical reasons.

I complain about how cold it is here but I am thankful that the snow usually only falls in the mountain areas. In the valley we might get 2-3 inches a month but melts away within a day or two. The only thing is, is with the little amount of moisture the valley gets socked in with an inversion and that makes it alot colder.
