There With You
Hi. I know where you're coming from. I was diagnosed with HPV when I was 19, no matter what your age, it's still shocking! Did your doctor tell you that you need to come in for a coloscopy? That's all my doctor did for me after they found I had it. If you have any other questions, I'll try to answer them the best I know. Good luck...remember you're not alone Smile I hope everything goes well for you.

I found out when i had a papsmear done when i was pregnant with my son back in 2005. They did a repeat pap when i was 8 mths along then did a colposcopy 6 wks after he was born, they did a biospy wich came bag negative so no cancer. I had a pap done when i was pregnant with my daughter as well wich came back fine , no abnormal cells Smile they were supposed to do a repeat one but i dont think that they ever did , they might have, they did cervical checks all throughout my pregnancy so they migh thave done another pap i dunno but so far i havent had abnormal cells again and i dont get another pap done until july this year. The colposcopy hurt a little bit , like they were pinching your insides to get some of the cells to biopsy , i had mild cramping afterwards and a tiny bit of spotting but overall it wasnt bad at all and was done for a good reason. it took like 5 min total , they also look in your cervix with like some special glasses or something of the sort to see more clearly.
