Q: Bad to Leave Sinus Infection???

Hey guys...Im pretty sure tha I have a sinus infection (yellow mucus, tenderness, headaches) and im starting water polo in one week, the problem is my mom is a nurse and will not let me play if I have a sinus infection and I rly want to play, ive swam the past two years and I want to get into water polo....

Ok on to question...
What can happen if I leave this sinus infection untreated???

If you truly have an infection, it can travel to other places in your body. Typically, if I let one go it first goes to my ears and then on into my respiratory tract causing an upper respiratory infection or bronchitis by this time, you would be very uncomfortable and very much wishing you had gone to the doctor sooner. Your mom is a nurse-you need to listen to her.

what can happen is it can possibly not go away. you should go to the doctor to get some anti biotics.
