Hey I was on here for a lil while then I lost my internet for a long time. I was having withdraws... But you guys were nice so I thought i'd put pics up and tell my lil story. Anyways I had my baby feb 9 at 3:09 pm 5lbs13ozs 19.25inches long. After being in labor for 26hours and ended in a csection because I wasn't dilating nor was she dropping, the epi only worked on one side of my body too, that was a miserable day... Then during the csection I wasn't completely numb so I actually started feeling the cutting and pulling so they knocked me out. But when she came out she was completely wrapped up in her umbilical cords and had a cone shaped head from the contractions, so if I would of waited any longer she could of been hurt. She so tiney alot of premie stuff doesn't fit her. Here are some pics of anya rose =).
Just coming out of the operating room

dressed up all pretty.

on the way home from the hospital all doped up on painkillers.

mine wasn't quite as bad as yours. I was induced (because his heartbeat went down to 60) and in labor for 14 hours. I was in agony for about 12 of those hours and never progressed past 2cm and he wasn't coming down, but he was face up and too big to come down anyway. I had an epi after 11 hours and it wore off on half my body after an hour. Luckily it wasn't too long after that they decided on a section. My surgery went really well though, I was just so exhausted and out of it by that point that I feel like I missed out on his first hour or so of life.

It was a very traumatizing experience and I felt the same as you, that I didn't want to have another baby anytime soon. But now I know next time i'll have a scheduled section and won't have to go through all the pain and trauma.

I've put it all behind me and hopefully you'll be able to also. I'm sorry you had a tough time (understatement, right?) but look at that gorgeous little girl. it was so worth it.
