Q: Symptoms of infection
asked by: DoctorQuestion on February 15th, 2007
Recently he has been having dizzy spells, that include both his arms going numb, as if they are asleep. These spells are followed by cold sweats and sickness. Also he has begun to have shooting pains in both arms and legs. Any information on these conditions would be welcomed.

The symptoms you’ve mentioned (dizziness, numbness, cold sweats, sickness and pains in arms and legs) are common for many conditions, mainly infections. You can visit your primary health provider for a physical examination and to request standard blood analyses to be the diagnostic procedure of possible disease or infection.
