Q: Is It a Kidney Stone?

I have recently had a pain in my right side just below my ribs. It started three days ago, but initially I just thought it was due to my period ending. My urine smells abit different, but it has done ever since I started the birth control pill just over a month ago. Should I be worrying about this pain or should I wait for it to go away? I did have a bad back four days ago.
Please help!

It doesn't hurt to get it checked by a physician. If it occurs again I would just get it checked. Good luck.
