How common is tmj and pregnancy. I went to the dentist yesturday and was giving a mouth guard cuz I clinch my teeth and I thought I might need a root canal. Well after being asked questions he said does not sound like a root canal. Well know hearing more about tmj, makes me wonder if I have that.

My jaw hurts I have one tooth on top that hurts to bit down and the pain goes to the bottom of my jow with my other teeth. Does this sound like tmj?
