I'm gonna get tested this weekend for herpes and I wanted to know if planned parenthood was free, because I remember someone telling me it was free to get tested there. If it is my friend is going to take me this weekend.

Yes, I believe they offer free tests. At clinics it often depends on what you make, however. If you make a lot of money, they might ask you to pay something. If you do not make much, you can probably get it for free or low cost.

Genereally it is not completely free unless your under the age of 18 and for example a high school student, etc. Otherwise they do ask how much you make and base it off of your income. Generally an exam and tests run about 380 but they would charge you maybe 20. OR at times they tell you "your services today would have cost you 200, we ask that you just leave a donation". And you can give them what you feel or can afford at that time.

It depends on if you have health insurance or not..Sounds awful but just say you dont and it will be free.
