Q: Constant Head Pressure

Has anyone had constant head pressure? Like your head is going to explode? I've had this for a couple years now. I am going to a neurologist now and he says it will take a long time that my blood vessels in my head are inflamed. I am on several medications, which has helped, but I still feel the pressure daily, but not as intense now.

I was just wondering if anyone else has had this and what you are doing for / about it. It also makes me feel faint (sometimes).

Any ideas or help ?

Re:constant Head Pressure
It could be migraine I often describe the feeling in my head as "if its going to explode". I would concur with your doctor - though I don't have any medical training just lots of personal experience - I often feel the constant pressure in my head and it can go on for a long time. When it's really bad I take migravent. I don’t even need to consult doctor for that. It is as safe as or safer than all over-the-counter products available in your local pharmacy.

I have constant pressure
I have this constant head pressure. like I have had daily headaches for 2 years now. and my head would wake me up at night with this pressure before and my forehead would feel big and tight and I was scared. (I've just turned 16) I had an MRI done and nothing was wrong with it. I didn't get it with contrast though. I had AVM in mind but it's highly uncommon... and I don't know what to do now. the pressure is constant. and the headaches still bad. now I've added random heart palpitations into my symptoms, constant lightheadedness and sometimes I get so randomly tired I can barely speak clearly. Help me with these symptoms!

Sounds like Sinus/allergie. Talk to your doctor about taking Zyrtec-D. You can buy it over the counter now but not Ideal with people who have blood pressure problems and ect... Read the box first! I had a headache for a year and had occasional head pressure with dizziness. Zyrtec is the only thing that would touch the headache and pressure. I got cortisone shots so i blame that for my headaches... Its cause me to develeop allergies and mold sensivitiy and I believe I have mold in my home that is causing me to have these issues.. Its all connected.
