What Is Wrong With Me! I Need Some Help! Posted: 02-13-07 13:36pm
Recently, I have been feeling a little
"off". At random points during the day I
become dizzy, confused, clammy hand, cold
feet, head rushes, antsy, and off balance.
I recently went to the er and they
performed blood work and everything
checked out just fine. They also
performed a cat scan and they said that
was fine as well. The doctor said that I
might be going through withdrawal, but I
don't know from what. Here is my story:
in sept 2006, I became a vegetarian and
began working out again. I supplemented
my diet with protein shakes. I would
consume anywhere between 100g-200g of
protein a day. Before I began working
out I was 5 foot 9, 185 lbs. Now I am 5
foot 9, 205 lbs. I also started taking
the following weight-lifting supplements:
n.O. Xplode, nitrix, and cellmass (all
made by bsn). About a month ago, I quit
taking the nitrix. Following that I
began to quit drinking the protein shakes.
Once I began feeling like this, I quit
taking the n.O. Xplode and cellmass, as
well. I am wondering if these are
in-fact withdrawals I am having, if so how
long will they last? So far it has been
about a week and a half. Every time I
start to feel this way I have to stop what
I am doing and relax and eventually the
symptoms go away. Since my er visit, a
little of my worries have gone away, but I
continue to feel “off”. They told me
to get plenty of rest and drink plenty of
fluids, which I am currently doing. What
is wrong with me? I have scheduled a
follow-up appointment with my doctor. Is
there anything that I should have him look
into? Help!

Personaly I dont like putting substance in
my body period. It does sound like you
might be getting a little worked up on
these suppliments for working out. I
would try working out without suppliments.
One of my friends was taking some stuff
and his attitude totaly changed. A few
months later he started feeling super
werid and had to totaly stop taking
anything.
About the Dr. Looking into anything just
make sure he knows all you were taking and
how much. I have never liked the fact of
taking supplements to help you work
harder, become stronger and
bigger...Sounds un-natural to me.
Once again I know some of these
supplements are really strong and you can
really tell a difference in your work
out.....And if you can then these things
are "changing" your body which isint
really a good thing. Stay off them for
awhile...Keep up with your Dr. If these
werid feelings go away then im sure youll
have a good idea how to avoid them. If
they dont blood test ^_^.
