It's snowed about 4 or 5 inches here already & it's still coming down haaaaard. I am seriously so over this whole winter thing. It's so cold & windy out I don't even want to step outside for a second.

Somebody make it springtime!

I'm so bored!

Haha! A lot of the schools here were cancelled this morning & there wasn't even like 2 inches of snow, then! I think it was because it was sooo windy & it was blowing really bad. My dad's school was cancelled. So he's been home being weird all day. Laughing

We are going to get slammed. My work cancelled all of it's trainings and is shutting it's main office down at noon tomorrow. Too bad I don't work out of the main office.

I'm ready for spring. That little rodent didn't see his shadow!!! That is a good thing

I cant even get my car out of my driveway so I will be stranded at home for the next few days until some of it melts....Unless mike lets me use his car just so I can get out of the house for a little bit.

It is possible that it could have. People in upstate new york have had their roofs cave in from the weight of the snow.... Sad

We're supposed to be getting a nor'easter, with the winds it could be knocking trees and utility poles over.

Not that it's as extreme as a tornado but snow isn't always harmless and pretty.

i know, and with snow, you could be stuck in your house for a couple of weeks.

But then with tornados, who knows if you'll live, let alone have a house to spare.

Both are horrible.

I wouldn't want to live in an area where we got bad hurricanes!!! I couldn't imagine having my house swept away by flooding.

We're going to get dumped on by snow. Up to 16 inches in my area. 2 feet west of me!!! Snow storms don't really bother me much. I don't mind driving in it, although the roads are really nasty right now.
What worries me are the 60 mile an hour winds. If our power goes out we freeze to death!!!

I always turn the heat down a bit at night, especially since the bedrooms get so warm....Well I woke up freezing, so my hubby went to turn the heat back up...And he came back mumbling something about not being able to see the numbers, so I went out there and I had to use a flashlight to see it well enough and it said "low battery". Brrrrrrrrr it was freezing!
I hate driving in the snow, i've always had a small pick-up truck, but now we've got a blazer and it has 4 wheel drive, so now it's a breeze driving in this muck!

There are over 7,000 people here without power (which means they have no heat) thanks to the snow. People are fishtailing all over the plae because there's a solid sheet of ice under the snow. Stuck in the house isn't the half of it. And now I have to worry about snow removal at my site. We can't get the ground clear because of the ice and if anyone slips we've got a lawsuit. I tried to contract it out to a snow removal company but they're all booked up for the rest of the week except for one that wants to charge 27.50 per 15 minutes that they are on site (we have large grounds) and an additional $210 deposit. Plus they do not accept corporate credit cards, only cash, money order or bank wire.... Rolling Eyes never heard of that before...

Kay, looks like you'll have to hire out the 10 year olds that charge $5/drive way!!
But seriously, I hope you find someone for snow removal soon!
