Have you tried "lifting" the black die.....It a special kind of product that removes the color from your hair.....I think lorel or revelon has it. This is the preferred method....Because to lighten your hair you will need a bleaching agent, when you combine bleaching with dying your hair twice that's a recipe for disaster.

I had my hair every imaginable colour.
I am the only person I know who went from blonde to black to blonde with no "unusual" colors inbetween (nope not a hint of green).
I went red to blonde with out going orange or pink.

I also had my hair blue for sometime - with silver streaks.

Most colors I had I only had for a short time onto blonde hair.

You need to strip your hair with a bleaching product first. It can fry your hair so i'd wait a while.

I tried to go from a black with a blue tint to a red color cause the black washed me out. Well, I just ended up with black hair with a red and blue tint. Yeah, this happened a year before my wedding. Thankfully, I was able to grow it out in time. My hair was almost in a pixie cut.

I use this shampoo product thing that's bleach free that's supposed to remove just the dye from your hair. When I get home i'll look up the name. Remind me if I forget.

I had my hair dyed black before too and I had to strip it with bleaching stuff first and then dye it the color I want it, and be careful because it really does fry your hair.

Mine felt awful for like 2 weeks, I had to go to the salon to get a lot of those hair treatments because it was so fried.

Hehe funny story:

i had a perm in my hair and my best friend figured I could use a relaxer like she does, then I decided to put streaks in it (same day) well I had that cap on and when we went to pull the cap off, all the hair I was streaking came off with the cap. Ya wasn't too happy.

Tip: don't use black people products on white hair! Lmao well other than castor oil. Love that sh*t!!!! Lmao

lol, well it isn't black people products because the same thing would happen to black people if they put a relaxer in .A.N.D bleach their hair all with two weeks of each other. Its just that the chemicals from both of those processes are too much for the hair.

When I permed my hair about 4 years ago it all started snapping off. My hair was ruined and I had loads off split ends. I had to trim about 7 inches off

I had greenish hair once...It was supposed to be blue tho. My friend did my hair and I did hers...Hers came out awesome, the exact purple it was supposed to be. Lesson learned, nobody touches my hair!

I already posted about my chestnut nightmare...But i've dyed my hair "egyptian plum/burgundy" a few times, and it starts out the deep, gorgeous purple it's supposed to be, but then it always turns red!! My skin tone and eyebrows do not agree with red hair!
