Q: Chances of Pregnancy

I'm a seventeen year old girl and my best friend and her boyfriend won't listen to my advice.

She and her boyfriend have unprotected sex almost daily, sometimes even as often as four times a day.

They are both aware of the risks but aruge that he either "doesn't cum", or "pulls out" before ejaculation.

He has been a heavy pot smoker since the age of eight, so they also argue that he's completely sterile.

All three of us know that pregnancy is always possible, but is the risk of pregnancy high or low? Does his smoking change anything?

Thank you!

Sincerely,
a concerned friend

Anytime a person has unprotected sex she is at risk for pregnancy. So good luck to your friend.

And to add the pull out method isnt full proof, my manager at walgreens when I worked there has a 6 yr old son from the pull out method so eh , either way she can still end up pregnant.

That 'pot makes you sterile' thing has been said since...Well, the 60's. It wasn't true then and it still isn't true.

Don't ever believe a man is sterile unless you see the doctor's handwritting on it. Seriously. Oldest trick in the book.

Yes, your friend could be pregnant and more than likely will be some time soon. I hope she doesn't have college plans and lofty goals to achieve because it looks like she might be home changing diapers instead.

My son is the product of the 'pull out method'.
