Alright just wondering what you guys do here....
Trace is now standing out of his seat thing and trying to climb out of the tub when I wash him....Also he gets so pissed when I have to dunk some water on his head to rinse him...I think this is why he tries to escape lol. How do I get shampoo off of his head without dunking some water on his head? He used to love baths in his infant tub cause the water didnt go in his face when he was lying down. Help Crying
or Very sad

I don't know. Alyvia hates that too! We try to use a plastic measuring cup (because it has a spout) so we can control the water, but she always ends up looking down and the water runs onto her face anyway. It makes her so mad! If you find something out, let me know! Laughing

I hold .Adriana like a football, and put her head under the water being careful not to get it in her face/ears. She hates having water dumped over her head too. It's getting tricky now because she's grown so much, but it still works best for us. She .L.O.V.E.S bathtime.
I wash her hair first, then I let her take a normal bath...Then when I put my hands out for her to come to me she pushes them away!

That cup is a *great* invention!!!

Oni doesn't mind the water.

But, .Nat, have you thought of one of the safety 1st seats. An infant tub seems kinda small for .Trace. Oni grew out of hers at about 3 months.

The seat, they aren't able to spacifically manuever their way out of the chair. If they do, which it does happen, you'll be right there to sit them back down. In other words, it's harder for them to grasp and stand up out of the seat.

yea I had mis read. I thought you were still bathing him in an infant tub...Lol

i'm rushing trying to cook and must have misunderstood.

Mah birrrrrdd!

Edited to add, i'mhaving a hard time picturing what you're describing. I mean, .Oni barely has room to lift her knee. How small is .Trace? Is he that small that he can maneuver his way out?

A shampoo cap is like a little foam visor. I bought one and it works okay. The water runs down the brim and off into the tub without landing in his face. But it's too much of a battle to put on. If I don't put it on right, he'll still end up with water in his face... I'll try to find mine to take a picture...Nevermind. Found one online.

well the one I have is maybe more open in the leg area? I really dont know. Its not a safety first brand I dont know what it is its a handme down. And trace is tiny, he is 9 months and 16 lbs, so yeah he can maneuver his way out of anything.

Hey nataliachick7~ I don't know if this will help so much but I have seen/used dinner style catsup bottles with the narrow nosel. You fill it all the way up and then spray it away from the face on his head.
