Well ladies,
I had my beautiful daughter kaylee ann february 6 @9:41, she was 7lbs and 3 oz 19 1/4 in long.
She is my first child and I know that I had a million questions about labor and delivery, which this site doesn't have a lot of people talking about that subject. So I thought I would tell my experience. So here it is....

I didn't start my b/h contractions until the end of my 8th and the beginning of my 9th month. But they were very irregular, saturday the 3rd I started to loose my mucus plug and it continued till birth. My b/h contractions started to become constant, I woke up tuesday morning around 5:00 with mild cramping decided to take a shower, around 6:00 I woke my husband up and told him that I thought that I was having contractions, we called the doctor around 7:00 and she told me to wait until the were stronger and closer together, this being my first time I thought they were pretty close and strong enough, my husband wanted me to wait a little bit longer and I finally said the worst the hospital can do is send me back home, so around 7:45 we headed to the hopsital, on the way to the hosptial around 8:30 my water broke in the car, I arrived at the hospital the nurse hooked me up to the baby monitor and iv and checked me I was dilated to a 6, my husband went back to park the car, came back I was dilated to a 9 she was born at 9:41....

For the women that did respond to my question during my pregnancy thank you very much Smile
