Need Help For My Dad

My dad is quite a fighter yet his syptoms are quickly progressing. He's on dopamine, yet he's getting very dizzy.Looks like he's drunk and is so off balance i'm afraid he's gonna have a bad fall. He's also getting severe headaches and severe fatique and very stiff neck. I cannot imagine him becoming disabled from this disease...He's such a good man

Hello,
I understand what your father is going through because my grandfather also is going through Parkinson's disease right now and it's not easy at all. It's a horrible disease and really hard to watch someone you love go through this. My grandfather has had it now for about five-six years and it's just really not getting any better, of course because it's not suppose to..just gets worse unfortunately. I definitely understand how you are feeling though..you feel very helpless and you don't really know what to do. That's how I feel all the time with my grandfather. My grandfather hasn't complained about those side effects from his medication but I'm sure that everyone reacts differently to their medications and what not. Have you told the doctor about those side effects he is having? I definitely would. Also, how long has your dad had Parkinson's disease for? How old is he?
