I have been smoking for 5 years, I smoke a pack a week. I have noticed a pain in the bottom of my lungs, right under my last rib (3 inches below my heart), if I put pressure on it it hurts and if I move a certain way it will hurt a bit, when I breath it I can't really feel the pain , im pretty scared.. Im going to wait another couple of days and if it still hurts im going to the doctor, it almost feels like a brused my lung, but I have felt this pain a bit in the past a few times..Anybody had this before?

Well, I have something similar... If you look at the carbon dioxide poisioning ask a doctor thing, that was me, and its still hurting everyday and its been around 3 months nows, most of the time, I have this pain that just hurts but then goes away and sometimes feels better when I put pressure on it, and just to note, all the pain I feel is either on or above my ribs and bones surrounding my lungs n organs, I cant acutally feel it inside my lungs if tahts ur problems
anyways, they more similar type of pain to yours is sometimes, like not as often as the other kind, it hurts and when I touch it or put pressure on it, it hurts like a bruise is inside in my rib cage or somehwere just under my skin and then it goes away but this happened in many areas(different areas ewach time)
