Nope. I got my period just as we were heading out today. So yay for that!

I just need to vent a bit so i'll do it here.

This morning I was complaining about the monster amount of laundry I needed to do and nick said that he would do it and I should just relax today and consider this my day off.

Well... We went out and ran some errands, we get home and he plops down in front of the computer leaving me to put everything away (food and clothes that we'd bought), then finn's fussing and i'm trying to sort the laundry. So I change finn and put him on the couch and nick asks why I don't put him down for a nap, I tell him he needs a bottle first. So I go about putting the laundry in the washer and getting the next load ready and I come back and finn's still sitting on the couch and nick's still at the computer. So I make a bottle and I guess he finally got it because he did feed him while I unloaded and then loaded the dishwasher. He finishes feeding finn and hands him over because he needed to go take a nap.

So now finn's overtired and cranky because we were out for a long time and it messed up his nap schedule, I can't get him to sleep and he got so worked up fussing in his crib that he spit up. I cleaned it up and laid him back down and he did it again. So nick's napping away and i'm sitting here with a cranky baby who desperately needs a nap.

I should consider this my day off? I'd take an average day over this.

Men!

He sounds so much like my husband. When some men hyperfocus such as sitting on a computer, it basically takes a fire to get their butts out of the seat and doing what they promised. The handing finn over because he needs to take a nap would have me steaming!!! It would take all of my strength not to throw water over his head. Is this typical behavior for him???

Sorry you have to deal with this all. Grrrrr...............................

He's actually never like this. Maybe that's why it's irking me so much. He usually does do some chores on the weekend, like laundry or vacuuming or cleaning the bathroom. But to tell me to take it easy and have "a day off" and then I end up doing everything, it made me want to scream.

Maybe I would have liked a nap!

Right now my husband's busy acting like I don't exist because his best friend is visiting from florida. He got soooo upset because he thought that I wasn't going to cook. So I make a giant puerto rican dinner and they went out to eat italian. I couldn't go because we can't find a sitter... Great! Don't you just love men?

I feel for you!!! Mike will crab at me, telling me to .Go .Sit .Down and get off your feet. Then he puts on a football game or goes online. Not a lot gets done if I don't do it, or have a major head fit, which isn't my style.
