Q: Numbness after endoscopic brow lift and eyelid surgery
asked by: DoctorQuestion on February 10th, 2007
I still don't have total feeling back on the right side of my head. The doctor told me that it is sure to come back but its been over six months from the time of surgery and I'm starting to doubt him.

besides the fact that my eyebrows look no different than before, what should I do?

You can ask for a second opinion from another plastic surgeon. You can also consult a neurologist to find out if a facial sensitive nerve was damaged during the operation and if that damage is reversible, or not. Depending upon the results from these examinations and the original doctor’s promises you can then decide on how to proceed. You may also need legal advice.
