Why would they need to do a cone to discover whether they should do a total hyst or a radical? You'd think they'd be looking at your ovaries more if a radical hyst was an option on the table.
That said, you have every choice in this matter. It is your body. If you want to keep your uterus, keep your uterus and do another cone procedure.
The reality is there is no 'cure' - not even a hysterectomy will totally rid your body of hpv. There are still cases of vaginal cancer caused by hpv after a hysterectomy.
