Q: Could I Be Pregnant?

I had unprotected sex (he didn't ejaculate, just pre-cum) and then approximately two weeks later started having light bleeding. It lasted about a week...I heard implantation bleeding can last that long, it just depends on the person. It was either brown or pink in color, no red...It wasn't like a normal period for me at all. It was extremely light instead of heavy and didn't come with any strong, painful cramps. It also came a week earlier than I expected my period to come...They're usually very regular and i've never had spotting occur before. I should've had my regular period start on the 28th and it didn't. Now I have sore breasts, increased vaginal discharge, bad mood swings, a little bit of nasea on and off, and slight cramping...It doesn't really hurt, but I can feel it. I tested tuesday and got a negative result. It's been over a week since my regular period should've come...Is the test right? Or is it possible that i'm pregnant? Has anyone had anything like this happen before? I'm 17, but i'm mature enough to know that if I have sex then I need to deal with the consequences and i'm ok with that...I just need to figure out what's going on so I can figure out what to do.

This post really belongs in the "am I pregnant?" forum, but that's okay.

Any time you have unprotected sex, you are risking pregnancy. You are also risking the spread of stds. One of the most common stds, hpv, can lead to cervical cancer later in life. So please, protect yourself.

As far as pregnancy is concerned, it doesn't sound like you are. A negative pregnancy test and the bleeding you described both make me think you're not. But wait another week. If your period still hasn't come, test again.

Good luck, let us know how things work out, and please remember to protect yourself in the future.

I think you should go to the docter. But maybe you got hurt or something. This area is very gentle so I think you should becareful.
And sometimes tests can show negative and it could be positive. Maybe a blood test could be more accurate. I am not sure but maybe . And sometimes the pregnancy hormones are week and needs more time for testing try testing next week. Or maybe you’re like my mum she couldn’t find out she was pregnant until 2 months because urine test kept coming negative. But any ways good luck, I think their is a post that kia wrote I think it’s pretty helpful.

Good luck,
sara
