Why does my son detest to be on his stomach? Anyone else have this problem?

Alyvia hated it too. I don't think a lot of babies like tummy time at the beginning. I would get down on the floor with her so she didn't feel so alone, but she wouldn't tolerate more than 5 minutes a day. So that's what we did.

Totally normal, love!

We don't last very long either, probably 5 minutes tops. I do make sure to put him on his belly a few times a day though, 5 minutes here or there.

Now finn won't stay on his belly on the floor, he rolls over immediately, so i'll put him on his belly on his countoured changing pad and put a toy in front of him and the sides keep him from rolling and I think the change of atmosphere might help. He tolerates it much better than being on the floor.

Yeah its normal for young babies to hate it. I just did a little every day and just did as much as he could tolerate.

Oni slept on her stomach her first 5 months of her life. So tummy time was never a problem.

Tummy time is frustrating for lots of babies. Because they can't see anything. They have those mats with the mirrors on them!! Oni's cousin loooooves his!!!!

It makes tummy time a whole lot more enjoyable!!
