Anxiety And Pregnancy
Posted: 02-08-07 16:15pm

I'm 12 weeks pregnant, I don't have tender breasts (anymore) but my belly is growing and i'm gaining weight please tell me some of this is normal along with uncontrolable fatique and anxiety. The anxiety started two days ago and I can't seem to get enough sleep and when I finally do it's after two days of absolute rest.

I need reassurance this is normal.

Please help Smile

Emma, thank you so much for replying so quickly.
Yes i'm beyond stressed, i'm getting married in 7 weeks and although virtually everything is done theres the small details that need to be done.
That, and I still haven't found a dj for the wedding.

Stress & anxiety are definitely normal during pregnancy. I can't imagine a woman who *wouldn't* be stressed out while she was pregnant. As long as it's not a huge problem, don't worry about it. But if you're having really extreme fatigue that you can't control- like if you're falling asleep through out the day after having slept 8 hours the night before.. You need to talk to your doctor. Because that is probably not good!

Arcadia,
yeah it's not to that extreme where i'm falling asleep during work hours. Unfotunately my doctor is away on holiday for a while so i'm relying on reading material and personal experiences for the time being.
I guess I need a break from all the wedding planning cuz i'm on overdrive.
