Q: Strange Pressure Feeling On Right Side Inside Throat

Hello,
for the better part of last year, I have had this sensation in my throat. It occurs on the right side of my throat and it is a little lower than my adam's apple. It feels like someone is applying pressure on the inside of my throat. I wouldn't say it is painful, just irritating. Sometimes it feels like it is throbbing. It doesn't constrict anything from going down either. It is pretty well constant, however it does go away for short periods of time. I cannot seem to place whether certain foods or actions (i.E. Smoking) make it more prominent, but I am trying to figure that out. I saw a doctor about it once and she said it was probably some sort of fluid sack that is left over from being in the embryonic state, but I don't think she is right. She of course didn't do anything to check, just told me to go to an ear nose and throat doctor. I was hoping that someone here might have had the same symptoms and maybe an answer before I shell out lots of money on tests. I am sort of poor and it's hard financially to go to the doctor all the time. Thanks for any help!
